In 2019, I bought a 2014 Volt Premium for $12,000. After 2-1/2 years of trouble-free and very inexpensive driving I traded it in for a 2022 Bolt 2LT. Big mistake. Right after taking delivery, GM restricted the 259 mile driving range to 163 miles, making it completely impractical. Any trip over 82 miles took over twice as long with multiple charge sessions. I want my Volt back, but the same 2014 would cost the same $12,000, 5 years later.

An idea to make the trailer more visible is using some markers that protrude far enough out to be able to see them in the mirrors. (I think someone mentioned that before) I'd also make sure that your vehicles parking brake is kept adjusted to make sure it will hold on the slope of the ramp. I've seen trucks slide backwards into the water along with their boat. It makes for a humorous video, but an obvious costly error. Thanks for sharing, Chad! I hope you and Jennifer had a fun day at the lake. 😎🏖

I noticed this gentleman was putting gasoline in his EV. My favourite part of this video is at the 3:00 minute mark. Ohhh, the subtlety of propaganda. It used to be called a hybrid, but the propagandist decided to call it an EV electric vehicle. It’s as much an (ICE) internal combustion engine as it is an EV just as Obama is just as much white as he is black. Think, please please think.

Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. It sounds like you’ve had a bad time with your Toro. That has not been our experience. In our 5th summer now, the Toro Timecutter still works great. I’ve never replaced the blades and they still cut nicely. But I’m also very careful where I cut. I only cut grass - not thick brush - and I pick up sticks in my way, and avoid gravel and dirt. The only thing I’ve done is regular oil changes, replace the battery, and general upkeep.

Hey there, I bumped into your vid randomly. I like your POV and appreciate your input in all topics you mentioned. I wanted a Ranger or Tacoma as my first new car when I was a teenager but I ended up with a Nissan Maxima which was great but complete opposite of a small truck. I don't think I'll ever get one unless I buy a brand new one off a dealership since the used car market is bananas and I don't know when selling cars approaching 200k miles was a thing (those used to be in the junkyards). IMO just keep driving the Ranger until the wheels fall off and don't worry about car payments, insurance and other people's perception like in you work parking lot. Some of them are most likely struggling to keep up with the BMW, MB, Lexus name just so they can get seen getting out of the car for those 2 minutes. Why is your commute that much. I once had a job in Deerfield Beach from Miami, FL and I didn't do that for too long.
